How much of life do you perceive?
Jason has been referred to by many as a visionary artist, as he creates his work not only with an intense passion, which is reflected in the beauty of his creations, but also because he continually seeks to create art that illuminates the minds and souls of the viewers so they may transcend their ordinarily limited experiences of time and perception.
Perception has always been of great interest to Jason Sullivan and his search for the answers of how and why we perceive in the manner in which we do has lead him to some incredible insights. Jason works to share his perspective by using his art as a means to approach certain fundamental aspects of the cognitive functions of the mind and the manner in which we create our realities.
The mind interprets, the body creates. In material space, objects are manifestations of the perceptions of the mind, a mind that uses the body as a vessel to materialize ideas, patterns and emotions. Jason Sullivan's work investigates the realization of energy as he explores abstract and metamorphic scenery to visualize his perspective.
